Pastor Tom Gore
Hi, I’m Tom and I am glad that you have visited our website. I am honored to serve our gracious and loving God by being pastor of Granite Baptist Church in Milford, New Hampshire. God saved me when I was nine years old and living in Tabor City, North Carolina. That’s right—I am not from around here and you will most certainly know that when we talk—I do have an accent! God has further blessed me with a wife of 16 years, Michele. I love her dearly and thank God for her daily. She is my darling, my love and my best friend. We have three wonderful children, Hugh, Tristan and Olivia---they are a joy. But make no mistake, parenting like marriage is an ever learning process that takes hard work and reaps wonderful rewards!
I enjoy spending time with God in prayer and reading His Word.
I am an avid sports fan and enjoy playing sports and anything with my family. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1989 (I am 41) with a B.A. in political science and business. The world called me to Law School and God called me to full-time ministry. Confused, I did not choose either route until later in life when I made the decision to submit to ‘wherever He leads I’ll go’. So I attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and received a M.Div. and soon moved to beautiful Milford. New Hampshire---BECAUSE GOD CALLED and we answered. Thank you Milford for being a great people and a great place to live!
I like my coffee black and follow my Gamecocks! I love meeting people and enjoy laughing. I enjoy the outdoors—God has given us a beautiful world that we should enjoy and preserve. I firmly believe that it is a sin for church and for Christians to be boring; therefore I have been called to equip and encourage the people of Granite Baptist Church to be a ‘Go and Tell’ church not a ‘Come and See’ church. If I can ever help you please call.
